According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Inter Milan have decided to reject an offer from Manchester United for midfielder Matias Vecino. The two European giants were unable to agree about the conditions surrounding the bargain, with the feel now being that they are in conversations with Napoli over a move that could see Vecino head to Naples and Allan come in the opposite direction.
United do not appear to be having too much luck whatsoever in the recent January transfer window, to the point where many fans are calling into question the status of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. While many of them have opted to keep the religion in recent weeks, the 2-0 loss to Burnley during the week highlighted this team’s need for change.
Vecino might not have been the one player to alter the status of event at Old Trafford, but any type of positive move is going to be welcomed with open arms at this point.
