Everton have been among those clubs which have done plenty of business in the many of the previous transfer windows. They always appear to spend handsomely on registering new players, but they’re still a side that’s trying hard to fix those improvements to the group. Now, with the other new manager at the club, they might be looking to signal new players who could fit the group in another way.
According to Italian soccer journalist Nicolo Schira, Everton have been in advanced talks with Inter Milan over a deal to sign Matias Vecino. The Toffees are thought to have offered around 15 million euros for the 28-year-old midfielder that has been impressed by Carlo Ancelloti. Inter allegedly value Vecino closer to 20 million euros, but these differences don’t seem too high for both clubs to obtain an agreement.
If both clubs agree a fee then Vecino will signal a four-and-a-half year contract at Goodison Park.
