Wolverhampton Wanderers have been doing plenty of great business in the transfer market in the last couple of years. Ever since the advent of Jorge Mendes among their most important men for hunting for signings, Wolves have done a remarkable job, including players like Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho and Raul Jimenez amongst others. But it might be the case that a different Portuguese participant could be joining them quite soon.
According to the Portuguese O Jogo, Daniel Podence’s move from Olympiakos to Wolves could be nearing conclusion, since they’re asserting the player has experienced a medical with the Premier League side. The forward is expected to sign a deal at Molineux that should see him remain at the club until June 2024. The reported transfer fee must be approximately 23 million euros or just under 20 million lbs.
Podence has five goals and five assists for Olympiacos this season, including a Champions League goal against Tottenham Hotspur last fall.
